Foil Wax Mounted to 15# Tissue (Inner Bar Foil Wrap)
Designed for direct contact with chocolate, this foil is wax-mounted to a 15# tissue backing that permeates the paper to keep it from sticking to the bar. The surface is very smooth and folds and creases easily, making it ideal for wrapping chocolate bars by hand. Because it wants to open slightly, an outer sleeve, label, or sticker is recommended to keep it closed.
Cut to virtually any square or rectangle size and supplied in packages of 1,000 sheets per color, per size. Available in Silver, Gold, Red, Dark Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Pink. Total thickness: .0018".
Foil Backed with 30# Paper (Outer/Over Wrap)
A substantially thicker foil paper intended as an overwrap for commercially produced, flow-wrapped chocolate bars, giving them the classic old Hershey-style appearance. This material is not recommended for use as an outer sleeve, as it is very difficult to print on in sheet form, and is typically used by novelty shops rather than confectioners.
